These European awards attest to the ongoing investment and determined commitment by the Costa Brava and Girona Pyreneescampsites, which has now earned them well-deserved recognition within the sector. These awards come hot on the heels of other accolades won by the collective, such as that awarded to the Ballena Alegre campsite in Sant Pere Pescador, which was voted the best sustainable and environmentally friendly campsite in Europe .
At the beginning of the year, the Internacional de Calonge was also awarded the prestigious Platinum DCC-Europa Preis. And the Salatà in Roses was selected as one of the finalists in the ADAC awards accessibility category; while l’Empordà in Estartit, was chosen by the leading campsite association in the Netherlands, the ANWB, as winners in the best family campsite category.
