Wherever the waves take you

Discover the Costa Brava by boat departing from the Port of Palamós, with the Gozzo 35, a boat with a capacity for up to six people. Let yourself be swept away by the waves and the breeze on a magical, half-day or full-day trip, skipper included. You don’t have to bring anything with you, as it is all provided for you on board: towels, diving mask, a paddle board… And a gastronomic experience with an exclusive picnic that will take your breath away.

Club Nàutic Estartit offers a sailing excursion through the Medes Islands, a protected natural paradise, where marine life is part of a unique and diverse ecosystem. Whether as a couple, with your family, with friends or with your work colleagues, climb aboard the Fillao, a sustainable sailing boat where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience of connecting with nature, whether on the boat or snorkelling in its crystal-clear waters.

But if you want to discover the Costa Brava through the eyes of a surrealist artist, sail through Salvador Dalí’s Cap de Creus, and visit the places in this Natural Park where he was inspired to create his incredible paintings. With Mare Nostrum cruises you have plenty of boats, excursions and the most exciting experiences to choose from, where you can also observe the seabed of the Medes Islands through the submerged windows of the Atlàntida III catamaran.

Gourmet experiences

To get to know the secret coves and traditional cuisine of the Costa Brava, there is nothing better than a walk along the coastal paths. On this all-day guided tour of the coastal path between Llafranc and Tamariu, you’ll explore secluded coves where time seems to have stood still, both on foot and aboard a traditional boat. You can even enjoy a delicious rice casserole by the sea along the way. An experience that combines the best of the sea and the land, with moments of serenity and pleasure.

Another gourmet activity by the sea is the one offered by Cadaqués Bluexperience, in the Cap de Creus Natural Park. A quiet crossing to enjoy wild and magnetic nature, while you enjoy a vermouth on board, savouring the tranquillity of the sea while you delight in the local flavours.

Learn from the wind

Can you imagine learning to master the waves with the best of them? Sailing with the champions is one of the experiences offered by the Club Nàutic Costa Brava – Vela Palamós. There, they will teach you everything from the essential techniques right up to the most advanced, so you are able to sail safely while feeling the wind on your face and the sun on your skin. The ideal way to discover your passion for the sea, whatever your level of knowledge.

The Club Nàutic l’Escala also offers you the opportunity to learn the secrets of sailing, with a guided cruise sailing route and a guided light sailing route. Both sails are differentiated by their material, weight and design, among other features that make the sailing experience different. In both cases, the guides will teach you how to manage them, while explaining the stories and secrets that the coast hides.

And if you would like another type of sailing, we recommend riding the waves of Roses with the GenRoses nautical sports club, whether onboard a yacht, windsurfing the waves or discovering the unforgettable places of Cap de Creus in a kayak.

Because the Costa Brava is also a paradise for lovers of adventure sports such as kite surf or paddle surf. While the latter can be enjoyed in almost any part of the coast as a tranquil way to connect with the sea, we recommend Sant Pere Pescador to practise kite surf, with ideal wind conditions, which will allow you to enjoy this sport to the max.

Since the marinas of the Costa Brava are the starting point for many of these activities, we invite you to browse The Costa Brava’s Coves and Marinas where you can find out about the wide range of charter companies, with or without crew, that will allow you to go out to sea at any time and at your own pace. Shall we hoist the sails?
