We continue the Camí del North (North path) connecting Arbúcies with Osor, in a stage with lots of forests that will make us discover the heart of the Guilleries. The beautiful village of Joanet, nestled in the foothills of the mountain and with very good views of Les Agudes, will surprise us and we will enjoy the calm. We will pass near Sant Hilari Sacalm, main town of the region and famous for its mineral waters. Apart from walking through mythical lands of Catalan banditry, where the band of Joan Sala (alias Serrallonga) operated in the seventeenth century, we will also discover lesser known legends such as the one of Sant Miquel Arcàngel or the Fountain of The Minyona, which shows the extent of local superstition. After the pass of Llevanyes and near the mountain of Sant Miquel Solterra (or of the Formigues) we will submerge ourselves in the shallow depths of the hole of the Noguerola. At the bottom of the valley, the charming village of Osor awaits us, with its brook and its pretty medieval bridge.
