La Vall d’en Bas is full of charm. Surrounded by ridges, scarps and peaks, it extends along a green and fertile plain, bathed by mountain streams and dotted with churches and manor houses. If you look up you’ll see the Puigsacalm mountain that overlooks the valley, along with some striking hilltop villages, such as Els Hostalets d’en Bas, El Mallol or Joanetes. The charm of the valley will draw you to the table to sample the local produce: the cuina de remença (peasant cuisine). Bon appétit!
