Cornellà del Terri, in Pla de l’Estany, is a municipality with all sorts of points of interest. A leisurely visit is best if you don’t want to miss anything, such as the Romanesque architecture in the form of churches and small chapels scattered along the Ter valley, not to mention the remains of the castle of Ravós del Terri, the Sords bridge or strolls along the banks of the Terri and its streams. But, above all, don’t miss the planting of the May tree and satirical Ball del Cornut (Cuckold’s Dance), the most important festival in Cornellà del Terri, celebrated on Easter Monday.
