Viladrau is nestled in the Montseny Natural Park, bordering the Guilleries Massif. It is a village that is closely linked to water thanks to the almost 200 springs that are found in the municipality. Many of them no longer exist, but there are still more than 100 that you can try, such as L’Atlàntida, Els Enamorats, L’Oreneta, La Fontalegre, Els Llops and El Castanyer. If you are not sure where to start, you can always take the clearly signposted Camí de les Fonts route. And if you feel like walking, how about climbing to the top of Matagalls? It is a classic. Before leaving Viladrau, we also suggest hugging the emblematic chestnut tree, Les Nou Branques.
