The municipality of Llagostera, situated midway between the protected natural area of the Gavarres massif and the Cadiretes peak, boasts landscapes of great beauty that you can discover by walking along the various paths that criss-cross it, or by pedalling along the old narrow-gauge railway route between Girona and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, now a greenway. Traces of the town’s past can still be seen; part of the walls of the ancient castle and three of its defence towers are still preserved.
