The coat of arms of Sant Climent Sescebes features three bunched onions, although grapevines would be equally deserving of this honour. When you taste the local Denomination of Origin Empordà wines, you’re sure to agree. The municipality is set amid the final buttresses of the Albera massif, just where the Empordà plain begins, in a landscape of gentle hills rising to about 300 metres. It’s a great area for gentle walks. Staying on the move, the signposted trail around the town is also highly recommended, with 18 points of interest that explain the history and life of the place.
