Its name in Catalan means ‘stony cove’, and getting here by boat is easier than by land.

In fact, many visitors do so, as can be seen from the many boats anchored by this cove in the summer. The path to get here can be difficult and uneven, although it has improved over the years. You have to leave the car on the road that goes from Palafrugell to Tamariu, and then walk for 800 metres until you reach this small cove of 33×30 metres, which is true to its name, as it’s covered in pebbles of various sizes. Located a couple of kilometres away from Tamariu, one other option is to follow the Camí de Ronda, a path that follows the length of the Costa Brava coastline. Like other bays in the area, take a moment to admire the cliffs, whose rock is pierced here and there by green pine trees. There is a small restaurant in the bay
