Toses stands at the edge of Ripollès, leading into the neighbouring county of Cerdanya. Located at one end of the Ribes valley, this municipal district boasts a Pyrenean landscape full of beauty spots. From small mountainside villages, including Dòrria (the highest village in the county, at 1,555 metres), to meadowland areas such as the Anyella plain, where cattle is put out to pasture throughout the summer until the autumn. And, typically for the county of Ripollès, small Romanesque churches scattered throughout the area, reminding us of the past.
