Sant Jordi Desvalls, in Gironès, is a town set on a hilltop, at the feet of what was a castle. Stroll around its old quarter, breathe in its mediaeval past and walk along the streets where the old town walls once stood. Standing at the top of the hill, overlooking the town, is the church of Sant Jordi, whose bell tower was formerly one of the towers of the old castle. Beyond the town itself, you can visit the small hamlets of Sobrànigues, Sant Mateu or Diana.
