This community and its deep-rooted passion for cycling in the territory allow a whole series of sports competitions to take place that each year bring together thousands of participants, including world champions of various disciplines and international figures. Can you imagine sharing the route with the professional cyclists you see competing on TV?
The wide variety of competitions welcomes the most experienced cyclists, but also those of you who are looking to increase your kilometres. From the Girona stages of the Volta a Catalunya to international meetings such as The Traka and the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona bike festival, all of them members of international UCI circuits, but also prestigious independent circuits such as the Gravel Earth Series.

The mountains of the Girona Pyrenees also host the best MTB riders on the planet. They participate in the different events that qualify for the world championship circuit, including the event that opens the competition calendar in Banyoles with the International Catalan Cup, as well as the MTB Marathon, which has already become a classic with La Tramun.
On the Costa Brava and in the Girona Pyrenees, each new season the calendar of international tests and competitions grows and includes key new events. A leading territory with roads, tracks and mountain paths in which the true experiences of the best cyclists in the world go down in history.
