Espinelves, in the Osona region, is a village, but it is also a forest. Masjoan Grove, the largest forest with monumental trees in Catalonia is in this municipality. It contains more than 58 different species with huge trees of more than 40 meters high with diameters of two meters. The bell tower of the church stands, like another impressive tree, over the small, welcoming village, which preserves Romanesque architecture in its streets and buildings. If you go there at the beginning of December, you will be able to visit the Fir Tree Fair, which is well known all over Catalonia.
