Patronat works to comply, as far as it possibly can, with accessibility requirements to provide universal access for everyone consulting it, regardless of their physical, sensory or cognitive abilities, and of the systems or resources employed (browser, device, connection speed, etc.).
According to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016, the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies must be accessible. This accessibility must be achieved on the basis of European standard EN 301 549, on accessibility requirements. Said standard is based mainly upon the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in August 2018.
It is Patronat’s wish to achieve full compliance with web accessibility standards. European regulations require public sector bodies to achieve Level AA compliance, a level with which our website currently complies.
