Traditions run deep in Catalonia, and making castells is one of the oldest. In 2010 Castells were declared a UNESCO Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Today the groups continue to push themselves into more challenging formations; the tallest human tower to date, the “4 de 10” (10 levels of people with four in each level).
Sherry Ott : she’s been to Costa Brava and the Pyrenees region multiple times and keeps coming back for the unique culture of the region as well as the delicious food! She loves to get ‘hands-on’ and experience the culture whenever she can which has led to many great Catalonia adventures.
