Calle Cruanyes, Sant Vincenç de Camós, Espanya
In ancient times Camós was inhabited by the Romans and the area contains what are considered some of the most important remains of the period to be found anywhere in Pla de l’Estany. At the Roman villa of Vilauba there’s no need to shut your eyes to imagine what a typical Roman house was like. Now fast forward to the Middle Ages and admire the Romanesque architecture of the local churches: Santa Maria, Santa Magdalena and Sant Vicenç. And if this journey back in time has left your mouth feeling dry, quench your thirst at the Sant Dalmau spring, one of the most beautiful spots in Camós.
