Plaça Gran, 7, 17491 Peralada, Espanya
It was all the way back in 500 BC when the Indigets (an Iberian tribe) decided to settle here, establishing the original walled town of Peralada. By the Middle Ages it was one of the capitals of Empordà. The town’s well-preserved streets, buildings and monuments exude this mediaeval splendour. Today, the superb architectural heritage (crowned by the castle of Peralada) is complemented by a series of enjoyable experiences for visitors, such as golf, the casino, the spa, horse riding, cycle touring and great restaurants.
