Scenic heritage of the town since it preserves the old fishermen’s huts.

Between the beaches of Castell and la Fosca, the beach of S’Alguer is not only located in an environment of great natural interest, but the complex was also declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest by the Government of Catalonia due to the group old fishermen’s huts which still survive. It is just one of the titles that S’Alguer holds, having also previously been declared an area of natural beauty. The white huts, with theirs doorways painted different colours, and the boats beached on the shore, it is well worth a hike, either from the car park at La Pineda d’en Gori, from La Fosca or from Castell. However, you will find few areas of sand and rather more of pebbles and rocks. S’Alguer is about thirty metres long and only four metres wide depending on the effects of storms.
