The last stretch of the Mediterranean way in Girona, clearly marked by the deep impact that the residential areas have caused to a coast that seventy years ago was practically untouched. The previous stage crested the Serra d’Ardenya and this last section progresses along the maritime shore, although at times it runs through forest of pine and cork oaks, connecting the beaches of Llorell and Canyelles. The cliffs are not as spectacular as the ones at the Cap de Norfeu and Punta Ventosa - but the stage is still very attractive. A stretch that, despite the uncontrolled urban growth still retains beautiful hidden corners, such as the Caleta des Trons or des Frares, located under the section of trail that leads us to the beach of Lloret.
