Charming fourth stage of the Girona GR 83 in which we go from Les Planes d'Hostoles to Olot, capital of the Garrotxa, bordering the Serra de les Medes and passing next to four volcanoes: Traiter, Can Tià, Santa Margarita and Puig Jordà. This section and the next stage of the Camí del Nord form true immersion in the Garrotxa, where you will understand the great contrast between its most essential part: the volcanoes its fertile plains, large farms and the mythical Fageda d'en Jordà; And the Alta Garrotxaa, a territory that, except for a few places like the Sant Aniol valley and the peaks of Comanegra or Puig de Bassegoda, is still very unknown for the great majority.
