Ideal for families with young children, featuring a children’s play area in the Dunes park, as well as a Kid’s Club run on the beach during the summer season. Bathing areas are marked with buoys. The bay features a unique ecosystem as the home to one of the Costa Brava’s only remaining coastal dune formations. Service companies: beach hut rental, sailing and kayak school, windsurfing, water skiing, boat rental, buoy and mooring rental and scuba diving. The group of modernista-style houses that line the seafront promenade is a particular point of interest. Smoking is prohibited in the northern beach area. For expert swimmers, there is a swimming channel running from Maset Cove to the zone close to Cape Mort. And Molí Cove is a small, dog-friendly cove set against a stunning natural backdrop where people are able to enjoy the sea in the company of their canine friends. As for natural attractions, you have the Sant Pol natural dunes, where new environmental information and awareness signs have recently been installed. The City Council, the body responsible for ensuring the conservation of this natural community, has extended the area. The establishment of dunes and their natural plant life is promoted along the entire Sant Pol seafront. Action has also been taken to protect the Cymodocea nodosa sea grass meadow that grows on the seabed of the bay and install mooring buoys in an area around Cape Mort in order to study the regeneration of the seabed communities and facilitate leisure craft use. A project is also currently being carried out in the bay for the protection of its seahorses, a characteristic local marine species.
