This is the first beach on the Costa Brava accessible by land when coming from the North. To get there, you take the Camí de Ronda coastal path from the main beach of Portbou village, first passing the Las Tres Platgetes beach. You arrive at the beach, which still has some of the pine trees which gave the beach its name, after a short walk of approximately half a kilometre. The pebble cove is some forty metres in length, and offers both tranquillity and an area full of cliffs and reefs to explore. There is also the Pirate’s Cave in the same area, one of many that are found on this coast. Del Pi beach is a good place to go diving.
