Plaça de Brunyola, 5, 17441 Brunyola, Espanya
Hazelnut trees are the star of this town in the Selva region. During one weekend of the year, Brunyola becomes the hazelnut capital, with a whole range of activities in which this nut holds the starring role.
The rest of the year, Brunyola is a quiet town surrounded by pine, holm oak and chestnut forests. If you walk through its streets, you will be surprised to see how the ancient castle, of which three of the four original towers still stand, is totally integrated into the shape of the town.
