Carrer de les Escoles, 3, 17137 Viladamat, Espanya
Everything seems to indicate that Viladamat, in Alt Empordà, is of Roman origin; the remains found in the Roman villa of Tolegassos, the Roman silo and the Roman furnace all point in this direction. The municipality and its little town have always been closely associated with the Fluvià river. From here you can head to the ancient castle and the church of Sant Feliu de la Garriga, or climb up to the little summit of Segalar peak and enjoy the panoramic view of the Empordà plain and the Gulf of Roses.
