Sant Mori is a small town in the south of Alt Empordà where silence reigns and a strong sense of ancient history is in evidence, thanks to the discovery of prehistoric remains and a settlement with remains dating from the Iberian period. Landmarks from other periods also coexist in the town today, such as the Renaissance castle, the Romanesque church and the houses that surround it, some of which were built on the old town walls in the 17th and 18th centuries.
