Family entertainment and eco awareness

The Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees are natural areas that must be maintained and cared for. For this reason, families can turn their visits into moments to learn about sustainability and enjoy nature while taking care of the planet.

The natural areas of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees are spaces that must be conserved. They offer a wide variety of educational and outreach activities that promote a more ecological and sustainable lifestyle. It is an opportunity to teach young people the importance of the effects of climate change and conservation and respect for nature. In this way we can ensure that many more future generations can continue to enjoy the sea and the mountains.

Espai Aquae and the cultural heritage of water

Water is life, landscape and fun. At the Espai Aquae in Caldes de Malavella, they describe water as a vital resource. The museum is divided into five thematic spaces, each of which delves into a different aspect of the region’s relationship with water: the relationship of hot springs and volcanoes, the mineral composition of the waters, their human use over time, the evolution of the water industry and workshops dedicated to their research. In addition to this there is a special area for your little ones where they can pretend to be archaeologists, working on the reproduction of an excavation. It’s an authentic journey to the past, present and future and a source of inspiration for the whole family.
