Garrigoles, is a small sleepy town in Baix Empordà, where the time is not dictated by the clock but by you. Always at your own pace, you can visit the town’s best-known landmark, the natural hot water well, a pond containing sulphur-rich water with medicinal properties that is popular with both locals and visitors. Head to the village of Olives and the small church of Sant Vicenç, and don’t miss the church of Sant Sadurní, where you can try to make out the naked body of a woman sculpted on one of the walls.
