Around Gran or Tamariu beach you can see, in addition to pine trees, the tamarisk trees that have given their name to this area. This is an urban beach, but the whitewashed buildings of the area are visually pleasing. In addition, between the buildings and the sand of the beach, there is a lovely promenade. Hotels and restaurants are part of the additional services available nearby. Moreover, as with other beaches of Palafrugell, it is normal to find fishing boats beached on the sand of Tamariu beach as well as those anchored in the water.
