This beach is located in the heart of the town, with the port at one end and Sa Palomera rock, the physical start of the Costa Brava, at the other. Surrounded by a promenade with a clearly urban setting, Blanes beach is easy to access, using the underground parking area. With golden sand, it has plenty of facilities that make it especially attractive for the whole family. For example, the town council offers a Children’s Club, an enclosed area which provides activities for children with specialist supervisors. It is not the largest beach of the town, but being 650 metres long and on average 30 metres wide, it offers plenty of room for bathers. It has been awarded a blue flag.
